Thank you to everyone that made our annual Adult and Jazz BBQ Potluck a success on Thursday night! The food, music and company was exquisite. If you left any dishes or serving pieces at the LBC, please come down and identify them so that we can get them back to their rightful owners. Below are a couple pictures from the event.
Over the course of the summer our lost and found has grown immensely. Please check the shelves beneath the northern adult deck stairs for any typical beach items that you or your children may have left behind. Also, we have accumulated some more unique items such as prescription glasses, keys, electronics, etc. in the guard house. If you have misplaced something of this nature you can send an email with a description of the item to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Recently we had an issue with someone moving the handicapped parking sign from its location in front of the beach club. This sign is necessary to reserve one spot for those eligible to park there. We ask all of our members and guests to please be respectful and to not remove any signage or park in this spot if you don’t have a handicapped parking pass. Refusal to follow these rules will result in us calling parking enforcement. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
This Wednesday, August 27th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm we will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of the LBC’s sailing program. All LBC Sailing members and children that have participated in the LBC sailing camp are welcome to join us. The event will begin with making a sailing flag for each boat. Around 5:00pm we will have as many sailboats out on Lake Washington as possible. After our celebratory sail, the LBC staff will be barbecuing free hot dogs and hamburgers for the attendees of the event. If you are going to attend, please RSVP at the front desk with your name, the names of any other attendees, and whether you will prefer a hot dog or hamburger at the event. Your RSVP will help us to plan accordingly for the event.
Also on Wednesday night is the Fattie Fleet End of Season Party on the Adult Deck at 6pm! If planning to attend, bring an appetizer to share. Beverages will be provided. For additional questions, please contact Jen Anderson, Mary Jo Gasparich or Mary Craig.

See you down at the beach club,
