Home-owning residents who reside within the beach club boundaries are eligible for membership in the Beach Club. The cost of membership is $3,000.00 (one time, nonrefundable initiation fee) plus annual dues, which are currently $445.00 per year (senior dues, 65 and older, are $152.00 year).
The membership entitles all of the immediate family residing at your home address to all the privileges of the Beach Club. Your application together with a check in the amount of $3445.00 ($3145.00 for Seniors) should be mailed to the Laurelhurst Beach Club, P.O.Box 51107, Seattle, WA 98115. Please make your check payable to the Laurelhurst Beach Club. Annual dues must be paid by June 1st each year.
- Dues paid after June 1st will be assessed a late fee of $25.
- Members who do not pay dues by June 30th will be removed from our membership roster without further notice.
If a rental house is located with in the boundaries of Laurelhurst Beach Club as determined by the Board of Trustees, the renter shall be eligible to apply for a seasonal membership at the annual fee of one and one half (1 1/2) times the standard membership rate. The membership carries no voting privileges. $670 for 2016
Club members may host non-members as guests. Members must meet their guests at the front gate in order for the guest to be able to enter the club. Members will be held responsible for the conduct of the guest during their stay at the club. A junior member present at the LBC is allowed to accompany a maximum of 2 guests during each visit.
Non-Member Residents of Laurelhurst
Residents living within the Beach Club boundaries who are not club members may be a guest, but on not more than one occasion per year.
Married Sons & Daughters
Members’ sons and daughters who have established their own homes will be treated strictly as guests. If they live within the beach club boundaries and have not joined the Club, they may be a guest not more than one time per season. If they are a guest at the club they must be accompanied by a member.
Members who have lived in the neighborhood and paid dues to the beach club for 50 years or more and entitled to receive Honorary membership status. Honorary members no longer pay dues, but do receive all of the privileges of the beach club. Please contact us if you are eligible for Honorary membership status, and would like to apply.
Seniors who have enjoyed being members at the beach for many years and move from the neighborhood can become Emeritus members. The means that they can enjoy the privileges of the beach club without still living in the neighborhood. Please contact us if you are eligible for Honorary membership status, and would like to apply.
